India Joins Australia’s Working Holiday Maker Program: Visa Ballot Process Explained

As of 16 September 2024, Indian citizens aged 18 to 30 can apply for Australia’s Working Holiday Maker (subclass 462) visa under a new ballot system. Each program year, 1,000 Indian applicants will be granted the opportunity to live, work, and holiday in Australia for up to 12 months, with the potential for renewal. The ballot process for 2024-2025 runs from 1 to 31 October 2024, with selections made between October and April.
